Learn an easy way to find a book on your reading level.
Choosing the Right Book
1. Ask these questions.
2. Preview the book.
Look at the cover.
Look at the pictures.
Read the Table of Contents.
Read the blurb on the inside flap of the book jacket or on the back of the book.
3. Use the Five Finger Rule
Choose a page in the book to read that interests you and read it.
Put a finger up for each word that you don't understand.
Too Easy 0-1 Finger
Just Right 2-3 Fingers
Too Hard 4-5 Fingers
